Kranplatsen是位于瑞典马尔默西海港的Dockan居民区主码头。这里有面向厄勒海峡的壮丽景观以及进入马尔默工业海港的繁忙海峡。这里曾经有一架建造于1973年的龙门起重机，它曾是马尔默的地标。这架起重机在2002年被拆除运往了韩国。许多的居民对这架起重机有很深厚的感情，因为它代表着原来的马尔默工业城，而设计尊重了这一事实。Kranplatsen上的主要元素是一个巨大的升高的木质甲板，周围是平滑的混凝土墙。一个钢棚架为这里增加了一种工业的感觉，它从视觉上将木质甲板和它附近的停车场分离开来。下到码头的台阶让游客可以与水更加亲近并享受海滨的风景。晚上，这里的照明很柔和，对周围的人没有影响。

Kranplatsen is located on the tip of the main pier in the Dockan neighbourhood in the Western Harbour, Malmö, Sweden. Kranplatsen has an outstanding view towards the Öresund sound and the busy channel into the industrial harbour of the city. The site is situated where the old Kockums Crane once stood, a 138-metre high gantry crane built in 1973 and a landmark for the inhabitants of Malmö. The crane was dismantled and moved to South Korea in the summer of 2002. The design respect the fact that many residents had a strong emotional connection to the crane as it represented the old industrial Malmö. The main feature on Kranplatsen is a large, elevated wooden deck framed with smooth concrete walls. A steel pergola adds an industrial touch to the site while it visually separates the wooden deck from the car parking next to the design site. Stairs down to the dock allow visitors to get closer to the water and enjoy the views of the marina. During night time the site is illuminated with soft lights not to interfere and disturb the local surroundings.
