Bluebird是一个完工的咖啡馆，位于Kings大街上，该街道有一定的历史了。项目方D & D委托了londongardendesigner团队对该咖啡馆的户外空间进行改造，因为咖啡馆的日常工作非常忙碌，项目方也希望设计团队能够充分考虑到这一点，适时地对咖啡馆的陈设和布局进行重排。 该项目的设计灵感来源于1997年的时候，将一个车库改造成一个餐馆。此次的庭院设计风格很大程度上取决于它的大背景，这里经常作为夏令营的场所。最重要的是，设计团队希望能够创造一个富有亲切感的社交空间，在与周边的城市景观联系在一起的同时，也能够与之熙熙攘攘的环境形成鲜明的对比。该项目的成功之处在于设计师们能够将灰色调的硬景观“软化”下来，建造了一个统一的座位区，从色调搭配到植被的栽培，都体现了和谐至上的原则，为这个咖啡馆贴上了独有的标签。 译者：蝈蝈 Bluebird is an established cafe on the Kings Rd that is steeped in history. We were asked by D & D to re-design the outdoor space taking into consideration the practical requirements of a busy, working cafe set within the boundaries of a Grade II listed building. Its origins were as a noted Art Deco garage complex that was converted in 1997 to a restaurant. Our courtyard design has drawn on its background, and the reputation it enjoys as a popular summer meeting place. Most importantly our intention was to create the feeling of an intimate garden space, within the bustling atmosphere.Key to a successful design was softening the grey, hard landscaping, creating a more unified seating arrangement, introducing colour and harmonious planting, whilst at the same time respecting and blending in with the Bluebird brand identity.
