坐落在澳大利亚墨尔本的这个狭长住宅，美观、怡人并且洒满阳光，是FND Architects设计团队打造的一个让人印象深刻的家居项目。该住宅的创新之处在于，它采用中空的横梁，搭建出了一个看起来很好玩的建筑结构。设计师用一些定制的木质构件和木制家具，打造出了一个线条简洁而且安详宁静的居家环境。

FND Architects设计团队，用排成直线形的细长木头，交织的搭建在建筑结构和花园区域的上方。住宅前边那个唯美浪漫的水池，也有利于这个居住场所自身的通风。整个住宅使用不算张扬的柔和色调作为主色，用浅色的木头和白色的墙壁，勾勒出了这里的基本造型。

Artistic,sunny and welcoming this extension of a narrow Melbourne house is a quite impressive creation of FND Architects. The project’s innovative architectural construct creates a visual play of voids and fragile beams.The clear lines and the calmness of interior decor are achieved through the extensive usage of bespoke wooden constructs and wooden fittings.

FMD Architects used slender lengths of timber in a series of linear protrusions to “stitch” together the architectural construct and the garden areas.The romantic pool of water located just in front of the premise helps the natural ventilation of the living quarters.The restrained and pastel color palette allows the light wood and the whiteness of the walls to define the framework.
