就在昨天,加拿大蒙特利尔世界风景园林师联合会大会上公布了2017年IFLA国际大学生风景园林竞赛获奖名单。

     今年竞赛的主题是:“景观的力量:为社会公正而设计(LANDSCAPES OF POWER: DESIGN FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE)”。

     随着全球气候的变化,能源、食物、水的短缺和各类废弃物的排放问题日趋严重,可持续发展的观念被普遍提及,作为景观建筑师,我们必须正视景观所产生的的最广泛的作用,并能够将景观干预作为改造城市空间的手段。我们所生活的这个时代,给我们提供了一个去思考周边环境尺度的机会,和充分衡量社会与环境在未来的价值分布。本次大会,是第一次跨学科的设计峰会,设计主导空间变化的核心,本次峰会希望以景观的力量这样一个前瞻性的课题,来解决空间复杂性和社会公平问题。

    本次竞赛的评委主席Beverly A. Sandalack博士说:“比赛是作为有一定历史的 IFLA 世界大会的重要组成部分。竞赛的一个作用是通过教育促进来鼓励景观建筑学专业的发展。参赛学生有机会与世界各地的同行一起分享他们的作品。去准备一次竞赛对学生来说是一次很有意义的尝试,并能够帮助他们为将来严酷的职业生活打好基础。”

二等奖作品;The Gold Hope

设计简介:

       秘鲁马德雷德迪奥斯河流域持续二十多年的非法采矿活动使这里的热带雨林破坏严重,雨林生态系统严重退化。似繁荣的黄金开采背后是矿工和地方社区的贫困,汞污染造成的健康问题以及黄金行业向政府不缴纳任何税收。政府打击非法采矿与矿工的贫困生活引发了他们之间的冲突,城市之外的雨林社区正在经历难以想象的环境和社会危机。

Peru's Madre De Dios river basin, which lasted for more than 20 years of illegal gold mining activities led to serious damage to the rainforest here, the rainforest ecosystem hane been seriously degraded. contrary to the seemingli prosperous gold mining, poverty among miners and local communities, health problems caused by large-scale mercury pollution, and zero taxes on the local government in the gold industry. The government's fight against illegal mining and the difficult life of miners have sparked a conflict between them, the rainforest community far away from the city is experiencing unimaginable environmental and social crises.

      我们希望通过逐步减少黄金开采来减少以下生态和社会问题:减缓热带雨林的破坏;减少汞污染;取得税收,消除政府和矿工的冲突。该方案的特点包括可持续性,低成本,多样性和可操作性。其主要内容包括:1.将采矿废弃物用于水土保持和景观设施建造;2.通过简单的技术改进减少汞对环境的破坏;3.将矿坑转变为鱼塘,分配给部分矿工,解决他们的就业问题,同时为当地居民提供无污染的食用鱼类。4.在新开采的矿区发展鱼类-农作物的循环经济模式;5.转变产业模式,缩小采矿规模,扩大观光产业,使经济与生态保持可持续发展。

We hope to solve the following ecological and social problems by gradually reducing gold mining through a step-by-step approach: mitigation of damage to tropical rainforests; reduction of mercury government taxation, the elimination of government and miners conflict.The characteristics of this program include sustainability, low cost, diversity and operability. Its innovations include:1. The use of waste generated in mining for soil and water conservation and landscape construction;2. Reducing the damage to the environment by simple technological improvements;3. Transforming the mine into fish ponds which can divide the number and solve the employment of miners and provide pollution-free edible fish and to increase income.4. Carrying out Fish-Crop recycling model in new mining area;5. Transforming the mode of industry, reduce the scale of mining, make economy and ecology sustainable finally.

三等奖作品:Home For Mithi

设计简介:

    孟买如今已经成为世界级的超级城市,人口超过2100万。城市中人与自然的关系日益紧张。

Mumbai has become a world-class super city with a population of more than 21 million. The relationship of human and nature in the city is becoming increasingly tense.

    Mithi河是孟买重要的一条排洪河道,蔓延的贫民窟侵占了河床,严重的污染堵塞了河道,导致季节性的洪灾不断加剧;同时,孤立的贫民窟与城市发展逐渐脱节。给这个地区的经济和社会发展带来了巨大危害。 

The Mithi River used to be an important channel for flood discharge in Mumbai. However, where the slums spread has occupied the river bed, and the serious pollution has blocked the river, which led to seasonal floods intensifying. At the same time, isolated slums are gradually out of the touch with urban development, which has brought great harm to the region's economic and social development.      

     我们的规划通过退堤和建立城市引洪区域的这种弹性策略来给河流以空间,经过时间的修复提高城市对自然灾害的应对能力。利用河道固体垃圾修筑的自然防洪堤坝将滨河空间改变为“城市绿地——都市农业——为贫民提供的社区”的模式,在保护贫民窟不受洪水威胁的同时,为居民提供了更多的经济收入,使贫民窟的经济模式朝着可持续的方向发展。策略还考虑到了保障社区内的清洁水源和能源,以应对未来的发展。最终在修复自然的同时,贫民窟成为城市中的紧凑型社区,整个城市实现可持续的健康的发展。

Our plan aims at giving river much space and improving the city's ability to respond to the natural disasters over time. So we are going to retreat levee and establish resilient strategies for the urban flood diversion area. We will transform the riverfront space into a kind of model which called “urban green space - urban agriculture - the community for the poor” by means of using natural dams built by solid garbage. We hope to protect slums against flood threats, meanwhile, to provide more income for residents. In this way, the slum's economic model will develop towards a sustainable direction. In response to the development of future, the strategy also takes account of the need for clean water and the utilization of new energy within the community. Finally, the slum will become the compact community along with the natural recovery process, and the city will achieve sustainable and healthy development.
